Combine Destiny 2 is the much awaited sequel to the zombie blasting Half-Life 2 mod; Combine Destiny.
Leaving off from where the original ended, Combine Destiny 2 will bring the fight against the rebels to the next level, and the story to a new height!
The prior assault on Installation 34 failed.
You find yourself in retreat, escaping in a dropship with the remaining members of the assault force. Behind you echoed the muffled, screaming voices of the parasitics, howling in victory.
You braved through hell for the Combine cause and survived, yet the system requires you to fight again.
Your next mission is to regroup, rearm and assault the rebels' defenses. You are sent with an assault team to re-establish control over Installation 34 and destroy the rebel threat.
Combine Destiny 2 will introduce brand new weaponry, including useable Manhacks and Combine ranged weapons. In addition, new vehicles and utilities such as a driveable APC and night vision will also make an appearance.
Q: Why is it taking so long? When is it coming out? I have been waiting for it for years!
A: We know it has taken long to come around, but life can sometimes get in the way of developing a mod. We all have school, work, and social life as well as other projects to attend to. We can't always be working 100%.
We will announce when we know for sure the mod's completion date. We don't go into naming percentages, because they often aren't accurate.
Q: Where are the new media?
A: While we will release little tidbits from time to time, we'll rather spend our time working on the mod rather than on media releases. The fastest way to know when we've released something for you to enjoy would be to subscribing or joining the following services:

Q: What features does the mod have? I.e. What is new?
A: We will have an all new three chapters long singleplayer portion with story, full voice-acting and score. In it, you'll be driving an APC, fighting rebels and zombies with new weapons such as a carriable Combine sniper Rifle, Manhacks and others. We have made some significant changes to the in-game UI and controls, but don't worry, you'll familiarize with them quickly.
Q: How long is it going to be?
A: Around 15 maps divided into 3 chapters.
Q: Would you do this *feature X*?
A: Most likely not. We are looking to get the mod done sooner, so new ideas aren't as highly entertained now as they were previously. But don't take that as a definite no, if we think your idea is simply marvelous, we'll look into it!
Q: What are the requirements?
A: The system requirements are the same as with Episode 2.
You only need to have one game installed that allows you to access Source SDK Base. Any of the games in this page will do: http://store.steampowered.com/search/?category2=16
Q: Are there any Zombines or other Episodes content?
A: No, since we wish that anyone without the Episodes can play CD2.
Q: Will you update CD1 anymore?
A: We have something in mind for the CD1 content.
Q: Who made the music in the trailer?
A: It was made by our audio designer, John "Bridson" Tucker.
